Part 2 of the Letting Go and Moving On series.

"Baggage Claim: Personal Belongings"

Why is it so difficult to let the past go?  Most people carry around the baggage of wounded emotions from painful relationships.  When people clings to the baggage it may be because there are some “personal belongings” that have been packed into the baggage along with the wounded emotions.  “Personal belongings” are those private and special qualities within a person that are supposed to be free reflected in your life, not packed away in the baggage.  Because some people have some bits and pieces of themselves packed away in the baggage, they feel like they have a right to claim the baggage – the pain.  Learn how to unpack only what belongs to you.
