Joe Rinehart has an extensive Internet background. His first Internet success resulted from selling CD-ROM discs to University environment world-wide in 1993, just after CD-ROM tech was first invented. In 1993 Joe authored the 1st commercial URL (or Internet address) ever advertised in a traditional computer magazine. In Jan 1994 Joe established the domain config.com to produce, develop, host sites becoming one of the first e-commerce companies on the net. When the Internet became commercial in Mar 1995, his company evolved to provide Internet access. In 1994 Joe was invited as a guest lecturer about Internet Marketing at Kent State Univ Graduate school of Business, Dept. of Marketing for Dr. Shanklin.

March 26 1997 the domain GlobalPeace.Net was acquired knowing that someday it could be used to "do good on the net". Over the past 20 years, Joe has worked with many non-profit or socially conscious Internet site projects. Having put the first National Center for Missing Children Childsearch.org on-line in 1994, helping school districts with sites before the web was popular and available to them, producing several community type directories, some still in existence today (KentOhio.Net), gov projects, Healthy Referral, and many others, Joe had developed a passion for helping organizations who help others!

On Feb 19 2013,  formerly known as The Global Peace Internet Project became a non-profit charity organization with the legal name GlobalPeace.Net, Inc. DBA The Global Peace Internet Foundation. The Global Peace mission helps non-profit organizations and  socially conscious projects disiminate information using Internet technology. Joe is excited about the future believing that the path toward global peace is through information & understanding. 330-874-9000  GlobalPeace.net
