Matthew 19 Jesus knew that His mission was to save those that the Father gaved him. 11Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage[c]because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it." Jesus tomb was sealed and guarded by Pilate's soldiers: Matthew 27 62The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. 63"Sir," they said, "we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise again.' 64So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first." 65"Take a guard," Pilate answered. (THIS IS THE LOWER HUMAN UNDERSTANDING TO EXPECT JESUS TO ACT AT OUR LOWER LEVEL) 43"Stop grumbling among yourselves," Jesus answered. 44"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' (FIRST HE WAS SPEAKING ABOUT DESCENDING WHICH MEANS HIS DIVINE BIRTH AND KNOW HE IS SPEAKING ABOUT ASCENDING AS A HUMAN) 63The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. 64Yet there are some of you who do not believe." FLESH OR WORDLY WORDS PRODUCES WORLDLY UNDERSTANDING. Hello Lisa, May I add to what i posted regarding The Crucifixion... all that was written and all that was has been pieced and put together & new discovered and research has been done by Scholars and by Historians -- THE DIFFERENCE is that we can now make sense of the REAL TRUTH... A human is flesh & bones ~ As a Spirit is invisible... untouchable.there are chapters in the Bible that clearly states what Jesus says to his apostles... He says he's is alive wounded but alive.. they all sit down to eat and drink at the table.. no Spirit that i know EATS Swallows or drinks...Lisa, Pontius Pilate didn't want Jesus to die on the cross because he didn't feel that Christ was a threat to Rome. Pilate's wife whom he adored and respected, also had a Dream on the Eve of the trial that pursuaded her to beg her husband not to comdemn the young JEW.. this along withPilte's own belief in Christ's Innocence, comes through in the bible, Whom the Roman leaders asks, "WHAT EVIL HAS HE DONE" and says that "I AM INNOCENT OF THE BLOOD OF THIS RIGHTEOUS MAN: do as you please ( Matthew 27 ) Christ's say "RENDER TO CAESAR THE THINGS THAT ARE CAESAR'S (mark 12:17)..WHICH SHOW THAT JESUS KNEW TAXES HAD TO BE PAID.. There was a conspiracy among Pontious Pilate, Jesus, and some of the Christ's followers (namely Joseph of Arimathea and perhaps Nicodemus to have Jesus go through "an Execution" that would appear as real as possible.Pilate promised that he'd do whatever he could to make sure the Messiah wouldn't die, to the End, the Roman leader had the event take place late on the day before the Sabbath (There could be no executions after sunset on this day--and none on the Sabbath itself-- and no bodies could be left on the Cross after the sun went down). He also made sure that the Cross had a footrest so Jesus could push himself up to breathe --- Scourged and piercing as was the custom -- but, Not the way Mel Gibson portrays it in "The Passion of the Christ".. Joseph of Arimathea also prepared a special type of sedative which knocked Jesus unconscious -- since jesus was in a deathlike state he was taken down from the Cross only a few hours later... most folk take days to die when cruicfied---They ussed to implae people inAncient Egypt it took them mnay hours and sometimes days to perish---why wasn't Jesus buried in the ground where he surely would have died... Instead Joseph of Ariamthea and several others immediately placed Jesus in a rather accessible tomb--- it was a hewed out room of solid rocck that stood above the ground, whith a stone to cover the entrance-- that just happened to belong to Joseph himself... ..there's a stained Glass window in the Church of the Magdelene that depicts three men carrying Jesus by the tomb, but the Moon is high in the sky. Now since we know that Jesus would never have been buried by someone at night over the Sabbath, this indicates that he wasn't being carried into the tomb, but "OUT OF IT" Nicodemus was ahealer and could see into the future, he went to Christ's tomb with spices and other accountrements this was to keep the body from rotting or spoiling, as the Jews weren't into embalming -- these substances were intended to revive Jesus.... Roman crucifixions ensured torturous deaths by breaking the condemned individual's legs and keeping footrests off the cross.. Why didn't the Romans do the same to Jeus..?? Jesus was whipped before the Trial-- but he also appeared before Pilat twice and was sent to Herod. He presumably walked between all the different courts-- so he couldn't possibly have made it if he was scourged to the point that Mel gibson film protrays---( no more than 40 lashes in ( Dueteronomy 25:2-3) The bible tells that Mary Magdelene weeps before the empty Tomb.. there she sees two Saints who tell her Why do you weep the living among the DEAD... (luke 24:5) the pages goes on and on Never mentiong Jesus as buried but taken away... (John 20:15 -- consider that in the bible, only the books of Mark and Luke say that Jesus went to Heaven, and both apostles are very vague about it-- they never confirm that they witnessed his ascension, but rather just assume he did... It's interesting how the Catholic church intially portrayed Mary Magdelene. Although the early Church knew the truth about her, they decided to project an image of her as a harlot in order to further conceal the fact that she was married to Jesus. her statusas a prostitute was changed and admitted as an ERROR in 1969 by the Second Vatican Council, the Stigma is still there----The Pop is infallible but here we see a pop ( and the Church itself) takinf a stance and then changing it later on.. why was the mistake was made in the first place. How can the Church say that their interpretation of Scripture is correct and then admit Error? IF THEY ERRED IN THIS CASE , WHAT ABOUT OTHERS? ???? ?>??? ??? ???

That's an interesting theory, that Jesus didn't die. I've actually heard that before, but don't remember where. I've also heard that someone else was crucified in His place, a look-alike of sorts, someone who was due to be crucified anyway, but was asked to pretend he was Jesus and in exchange his family would be taken care of. Many Biblical scholars are nowadays questioning whether the "virgin" birth and ascension were even in the original documents that the Bible was based upon, or whether those facets to the story were added later, so that Jesus would appear to be magical, instead of a human man who had realized "Christ Consciousness" and whose mission was to teach the rest of us how to do so. In any case, not a one of us alive today knows exactly what happened, so I don't see where there is any harm in speculating ... especially if that speculation doesn't do any harm to what His message was supposed to have been--that God is love and that we can do the same things he does.

Jesus fathered many children... whom Today YES, any one of us might be his blood line.. :))).... Awesome.. :)) I refuse to believe, the stories that early Christians& the Church put out as the final and only Truth, in a book .. Read the King James 1611... was written before the birthday of the King,and there were mistakes Error & omissions if not completed before the birthday head were cut off .. WHY because back then that was their LAW... made Sense back then.. But NOT in our Time... NOPE ... I hope this is clear to you my sister & my brother.... Thank you Be Blessed... I wanted to tell you that you are completely entitled to your opinion and the comment that was left about our endeavors that enlightened my spirit man that you have some extreme distorted views of the our LORD Jesus’ LOVE and the teaching of GODS spoken word. There is nothing intimidating about the precious love OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST who died on the cross to prove His ever lasting love for our lives. He is Precious to our lives in every way, and this is the reason we share His love with all through this ministry. This is not something that will be accepted as truth for the word of the Lord is Truth. His word says that every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord...No weapon that Satan forms against me will prosper in the name of JESUS CHRIST our Lord. I speak life into every crevice of your being as we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and darkness in High places.. I plead the blood of JESUS over your body and mind and soul. There is nothing greater or more loving than a relationship to Jesus Christ our LORD. The Power of all darkness must dissipate in JESUS NAME AMEN we pray for a hedge of protection over Cross Connected every day in JESUS NAME!!! There is hope for you as I know you have had to listen to leave a comment. I pray for enlightenment to empower you in this Love we speak of.
