  Freaky FreeStyle Friday

  i just wanted to take the time out to thank all the folks who attempted to join us this past Friday night. The technical difficulties were absolutely out of control.  When you download the show, there is about 7 minutes of utter confusion and if you attempted to hear the show live, then you know it was simple and utter confusion, because the show did not stream live. 
  We just ask for your patience when downloading this show in particular because it actually does get greater later...about 7 minutes later!  lol!!!  Keep coming and keep listening.  We really appreciate you!

  Polyamorous Relationships

  I had such a good time talking about Polyamorous relationships last week...but I realized that a lot of people have no idea what it is to be in a relationship with more than one person...even though we do it everyday.
  
  I think there is a fundamental misgiving about these types of relationships and furthermore, I believe that if more people tried them, they would experience a freedom beyond belief...perhaps that is the real challenge.  With this ring...i thee wed...with this ring...
  
  Perhaps the vows that we want to pledge to one person is a bit much.  I think the idea of freedom that is presented with a relationship like this may be too much for some people, maybe most people to handle.  As children, we've been taught to organize and categorize...we've been taught to only have one best friend...we've been taught...
  
  Much what we believe and feel, we've been taught.
  So if one has not been taught to deal with with more than one...if one has not learned to share...then therein lies the problem. 
  
  I've always been intrigued by choice, by freedom, by love.  I've always had people in my life that served different purposes and no one person is any more important or less important than the other.  I need them all.  Like the complex beings that we are, it is not merely one aspect that will keep me alive.  Like nature, I need light and dark, I need nutrients, I need harsh weather conditions, I need water, I need dirt, life and death and there is no one thing on this Earth that can provide all those things.  Rather, it is a cumulation of all of the above, working with and against each other and in the end, I too am a part...giving someone else something they need.
  
  That's just my take on it!

  Not a Toy...but certainly can be used...

  So...for whatever reason...the flames of love and been lappin' away at the corners of my house, so to speak.  No matter how many times I've attempted to put forth my best foot as far as being romantic is concerned...the lady and I have consistently failed and ended up in some strange argument which has no real issue or point...
  
  On yesterday, while making up from what could have been a real doozy of a moment, the phone rings.  The name on the caller id was my baby's ex.  When I answered the phone...you know I  answered the phone...the chick asked for my babes, but gave a fake name...then, she hung up.  I called her back... you know I called her back...but she didn't answer her phone.  I left a message...you know...well you get the picture.
  
  The point is, I already knew that I loved my babe.  I never had any doubt in her behaviors or anything.  But in that moment, I became a little more possessive.  Not out of fear that I would soon be losing babes...because I really don't think that is option or an issue.  I realized that there is a savage breed called the "Callandsees" who hail from the land of "Regretia."  I've never been there myself, but I know a few people who call this place home.  You can recognize the Callandsees by the way they, out of the blue, re-appear...callin and seein...how you're doing, if you're still with your lover, and of course, the main reason ...callin and seein if they still have a chance.  The member of the Callandsee tribe who dialed my phone was not brave of heart.  She never got a chance to complete her mission...and after her first attempt, I gave another chance...remember, I did call her back.  I wanted her to talk to my babes.  I wanted her to be clear in that this was number that she and her kind should immediately disregard.  Perhaps my voice on the phone was enough.....
  
  But what did that call do for my relationship?  It made us both realize how much we'd both grown within the relationship and with each other.  Had that same phone call come in a few years ago, the lesbian drama would have broadcast over the nightly and morning news.  We looked at each other and kissed.  We laughed at her weak attempt...giving a fake name when your real name appears on caller id...come on!!! 
  
  So the above may not be some synthetic piece that seduces you and vibrates one to an orgasm...but it is a real piece that penetrates the heart and mind and allows people to connect and reconnect, ebb & flow, reach high and dip low creating the frenzy and peace that only the intimately involved know.
