As a part of Expedia's Find Your Storybook campaign, we are exploring the theme of Ancestry Travel. We intend to research our ancestors, trace their paths and visit, the places they lived, worked, played and died.

Today's guest is Michelle Ercanbrack, a family historian from Ancestry.com. Michelle comes from a long line of family historians. Her broadcast work has included appearances on Extra!, HLN, major market newscasts and countless radio shows. Michelle was an integral part of several globally-renown genealogical research projects, including Kate Middleton’s connection to Jane Austen and President Obama’s connection to the first documented enslaved African in America.  Michelle has also been part of the research for the TV show “Who Do You Think You Are?” Graduating with a degree in Family History and Genealogy from the only such program in the United States, Michelle has been an official Ancestry.com spokesperson since 2010, and in her spare time loves visiting museums and spending time outdoors.
