The Midlife Woman Show

We're revamping the show and will be back soon! ~~~~~~~~~ Give us a call to talk about what ails you, what irks you, and what helps you. It's what best friends are for. “Best Friend Radio” offers a safe forum to talk about sensitive issues when you need support. Host Susan Bilheimer is the co-author of "Secret Suffering: How Women's Sexual & Pelvic Pain Affects Their Relationships." As a pelvic pain sufferer, Susan has become an outspoken advocate to lift the veil of silence and shame that surrounds sexual and pelvic pain conditions. Call in to our live show. Use this number: (347) 838-8262 to either call and listen or participate in the conversation.

Show Notes

We'll be back on the air soon! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Women going through perimenopause and those with chronic pelvic pain are examples of communities of women who often feel misunderstood, and suffer alone or in silence because they are too embarrassed to discuss their symptoms ... and how they are treated by their partners, family, friends, and even their doctors.

These issues need to be brought out into the open because there are millions of women with such conditions. They are often dismissed or misdiagnosed by the medical community.

We aren’t crazy, though we may often feel like we are “going crazy.”

Call in during our live show at (347) 838-8262. We'll also have webchat and you can listen to the show live streaming or later.

Email us or call 888-241-1461 with topic suggestions. The more controversial, the better!
