Our August 5 Guest, Laura Lee Carter, Will Not Be Able to Join Us!

Sadly, this week's guest (August 5, 2009), Laura Lee Carter, has had a family emergency and will not be able to be with us this week. We'll reschedule her in October, so look for her then! (Below you'll find a description of Laura Lee and her work)

Laura Lee Carter is a writer, midlife counselor and motivational speaker who assists others in believing in their dreams and making them come true! She believes we all have boundless potential to change at any age, and discover the life we can only imagine now.

Laura Lee thought she’d seen it all by the time she hit 40, but then the real changes began. After 25 years as an academic librarian, she experienced a divorce at age 46, and then job loss at 48.

So she started her own matchmaking service, met the love of her life, and then whipped up enough courage to change careers one more time, transitioning into a life as a freelance writer, counselor and motivational speaker.

In late 2007 she crowned herself the “Midlife Crisis Queen” and started her popular blog: http://www.MidlifeCrisisQueen.com. She has appeared on the CBS4 Denver news this past February, and on YouTube. Her new book Midlife Magic: Becoming the Person YOU are Inside! is now available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. She's presently producing a MIDLIFE CHANGE JOURNAL to accompany her new book!
