Real Talk with Michael A. McFadden

Michael A. McFadden, affectionately known as "Face" to his peers, brings an impressive and extensive track-record of Director-level corporate leadership experience and success to all he’s involved in. Don't let the "baby face" fool you... Michael has done it all, serving in the US Army (Infantry solider) during Operation Desert Storm, Realtor and Regional Sales Trainer for one of the largest home builders in the nation, along with the 12 other jobs he has held along the way. Being a native of Southeast Washington, DC, Michael intimately understands, employs, and relies on the sheer "determination-factor" associated with achieving major success. He learned the meaning of hustling in Southview (Oxon Hill, Maryland)... and cleaned up well in Atlanta, Georgia. Moreover, as a seasoned national speaker and published author, Michael enjoys speaking to business and corporate sectors, but especially relishes the opportunity to speak with kids who need the inspiration, a positive role model, and help with self-esteem and character building. “Real Talk with Michael A. McFadden” is one show that you’ll definitely enjoy, week after week.

    Hip Hop... Era? Phase? Lifestyle?

Hip Hop spreads not just through music, but fashion, movies, television, advertising, dancing, slang and attitude.

So artist like Run DMC, Tribe Called Quest, NWA, Mary J, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Luda, Jeezy all use different styles, different slang, different cultural significance, one thing remains the same, their all a part of Hip Hop.

Hip Hop is an attitude, one that can be non-verbal, as well as eloquent.

When you're a part of the Hip Hop culture, you know it, it has this feeling... you know that feeling when you put in that new Jay Z Blueprint 3 or that ol' school 2Pac cassette tape - it's a feeling that can not be mistaken.

Hip Hop is a culture, its closer to its original form than Jazz, Blues or even rock and Roll. Hell, even Rock and Roll ain't Rock and Roll no longer, it's Rock... can you imagine Hip without the Hop.

Hip Hop has stayed very consistent.

Remember Sugar Hill's "Rappers Delight" back in 1979 - forever a classic.

Hip Hop is rebellion, but our rebellion has goal, self improvement , the ability to acquire all things normally denied to us. the way the world speaks, moves, dresses and thinks, we're even changing the boardroom meeting, we've changed it all!

Back in the day it was dokey ropes, kangols and adidas, now it platinum necklaces, Gucci Louie V. and Bentleys.

Remember it was an obstacle to get Hip Hop played in suburban America - now suburbanites purchase Hip Hop in record numbers, as well as having a deeper understanding and a better appreciation of all aspects of the Hip Hop culture.

Hip Hop has grown from the Ghetto streets of America's best hoods and made it Globally. Like Puff said " I thought I told you that we won't stop" we not!!! Thanks Mr. Russell Simmons - Thanks Hip Hop!!!

    HOLLA - Face
