Shannon Dolce grew up in Nebraska the oldest of 2 children, the daughter of small business owners. Shannon's understanding of the importance of health was formed at a young age having been in the Lincoln, Nebraska newspaper with her Mother at age 3 in an article about her Mother's "exercise classes" being offered at the YMCA. Shannon studied Education at the University of Nebraska and finished her degree at the University of Louisville. Education is her passion whatever the subject might be. Despite the learned understanding of preventing disease, at age 23, living in Louisville, Kentucky Shannon was diagnosed with Stage II ovarian cancer. Determined to put that phase behind her, Shannon went through revolutionary treatment at the time and when cleared by her doctor, moved to Los Angeles.Regardless of the percentages provided her that having children might be difficult, Shannon has been blessed with 2 children; David age 16 is a Nationally ranked left handed pitcher and Abigail age 8 is a dancer, competitive (distance) runner and professional monkey bar athlete. Shannon furthered her understanding of the impact of diet through personal research regarding feeding top athletes. As a mother of very active children, Shannon understands it takes creativity and a firm understanding of what the body needs for proper growth.
In the last couple years, the residual effects of her health history in combination with emotional stress resulted in two questionable bloodwork results. Shannon raised the bar for herself and in the last 4 months has taken on Xooma's product line personally as well as taking on the mission of getting the message out there. She has educated herself on the importance of alkalinity in the body and has become a strong advocate for the use of X2O by her children, other athletes and those at high risk for disease including children and older generations.
