The Psychic and The Witch- Karina Blackheart

Karina BlackHeart recognized herself as a Witch over 20 years ago.  She walked a crooked path alongside local feminist, Gardnerian, Traditional and eclectic Witches as well as neo-pagans, new age spiritualists and indigenous Shamans.  Quickly, she made her way to the garden of  Starhawk’s Spiral Dance where she tarried awhile until meeting a rare Feri Trad Witch transplanted in East Coast soil in the early 1990′s.  While training with him, she danced along The Third Road (TM) and at Ifa bembes, was initiated into Motherhood and, with babes in arms, walked proudly right on through the dark forest until she came to the Feri House.  Those guarding the house made little fuss before opening the Gate and inviting her to set up rooms of her own.  Those rooms comprise BlackHeart. Imagine candle flame illuminating gypsy tapestries, sumptuous cushions, a banquet of delights, smoking censers filled with potent herbs and resins, sparkling laughter and serious discussion (easily waxing poetic) taking place among people who know who they are and where they belong.
