Tropicool Art & Entertainment

Miami Beach, like beauty, is the in eye of the beholder. Some see hotels, resorts and beaches, while others see restaurants and nightclubs. Some dive below the surface of the ocean, while others seek art, dance and opera. If there is an art to tourism, then Miami Beach is the curator. Remix and evolve. Take a walk on the artistic side - galleries and gallery walks, classical music, modern dance, exciting entertainment. From the Miami Design and Wynwood Art Districts to the "on the edge-of-the-ocean" vibe of South Beach, Miami Beach moves to a tropicool rhythm of its own.

The newest art district in Miami is called Midtown Miami Arts District.

For Art Basel Miami Beach 2008, the vacant land in the Miami Midtown Project will be occupied by a village of air-conditioned and carpeted tents.

The largest tent is more than 100,000 square feet. It will contain 100 art galleries. It's called Art Miami 2008. Nick Korniloff is the show director.

The smallest is an environmental art exhibit known as the Green Art Fair. It will have 20 booths and demonstrate how art can help with recycling. Luiz Valenzuela, founder of Green Art USA is my guest in this segment of Miami Art Online.

I'll be talking about Art Miami 2008, the Green Art Fair, Red Dot, Bridge and the Art Asia Show during special reports on BlogTalkRadio.com. I plan to expand the show to include more information.

Check out MiamiArtOnline.com for more information.
