MGN Radio welcomes Pamela Richardson, Owner of Images of Culture to our show. Her company is the first stationary company that promotes positive images for children of color. Pamela is a seasoned business professional with over 15 years of experience in marketing and sales.
As a child, Mrs. Richardson developed a strong interest in multiculturalism. This fascination led her to major in and obtain a BA in Sociology (the scientific study of society) and Anthropology (the study of humanity) from the University of Virginia. After gaining exceptional learnings in the financial services Sales sector, Mrs. Richardson desired to enhance her business acumen. She enrolled in and later received her MBA from Clark Atlanta University, with a concentration in Marketing. Mrs. Richardson’s marketing career has spanned numerous Fortune 500 consumer product goods companies such as Unilever, Philip Morris and Glory Foods.
With her undying interest in multiculturalism and seeing first-hand how companies make executive decisions not to invest in multicultural initiatives due to perceived lack of returns, Mrs. Richardson set out to develop her own line of multicultural products. Mrs. Richardson’s new business venture, Images of Culture, seeks to instill self-confidence and self-appreciation in young children of color with in-school materials that positively reflect them in an inspirational, hip and fun way.
