Cheese. There are so many to choose from including an array of imports. The reality is that cheese is just another form of milk. What are the least expensive cheeses that are not "cheese products" used not just to add to your recipe but to put on a cracker or slice and enjoy?
Fresh produce. How much local produce is available and what exactly is "local"? If groceries in NYC are doing the purchasing, does it pay to get produce from Long Island or California?
