Notice: The show will be on hiatus until around July. We will be doing shows on an occasional basis but the weekly show will not be scheduled. This show is focused on finding out more about how people communicate. We'll talk to people with a wide variety of experiences, education, and knowledge - all with the intention to increase our knowledge and use it to improve our skills. Good communication is one of the building blocks to a healthy and successful life and, from there, to create a healthier, more positive world. Clarity and confidence are two of the most important ingredients of good communication and we're looking forward to exploring them.

This week we'll be talking to Taylor Ellwood, a Certified Business and Writing coach and owner of Imagine Your Reality Coaching. He has worked in the publishing industry for over six years as a managing editor and owned or co-owned four small businesses. He is also a published author. Taylor lives in PDX with his lovely wife, and his two furkids.
Taylor became a business and writing coach because he was dissatisfied with working for large companies and wanted to put his skills and services to work for clients who either want to start their own business or continue growing it or have written the great novel, but don't know how to tell their audience that it's available. He wants to make a difference in people's lives by showing them how they can take what they love and become successful at it.
Taylor helps small businesses attract great clients and writers get published.

Tonight we're going to talk to Elie Cole, owner of Nourishing Medicine and practitioner of ritual, acupuncture, and massage. We'll discuss how communication impacts each of these and how important it is for a practitioner to communicate to a patient. This will also be an opportunity for us to delve into non-verbal communication in a different way.
Elie began her studies in massage therapy in 1999 at the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego. She owned Heal Thyself Massage Therapy, a successful massage practice, while studying Chinese medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego before transferring to Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
