Executive Director of Back 2 Basics Kids Foundation,Mr.Yusef Aziz. Yusef Aziz has been playing and living around basketball ever since he was a small child. His father, Zaid Abdul-Aziz, played in the NBA for ten seasons and Yusef learned many skills and techniques from him. Originally from Seattle, WA, Yusef is a 6'5" combo guard who graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2003. In his senior season he averaged 23 points and 6 rebounds and received a Division II Sears All-American nomination for his efforts. Since 2003, he has been playing professional basketball in Holland, Brazil, Canada, Kuwait City and the USA. Because of his professional basketball experience and his infectious personality, as a professional athlete, he understands what it takes to be a successful on and off the court.
