Bishop Designate Chris Kimmenez is the founder and senior pastor of The Recovery Christian Center, a life recovery oriented worship center. He is Chaplain for Philadelphia Stand Down, an organization supporting homeless and disadvantaged military veterans. Chimney serves as a professor of non profits and dean of administration at Master's Commission Bible Institute and is Overseer of Administration and First Assistant to the Presiding Bishop of Master's Commission Bible Institute. He also serves as National Director and Philadelphia Director of Healing Communities USA, a national faith based reentry initiative. In addition, he serves the City of Philadelphia as a member of the Faith and Spiritual Affairs Advisory Board for the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities. He is married to the Rev. Paula Burnett-Kimmenez and between them they have 6 children (1 deceased) and 12 grandchildren.
