July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month! Wednesday's episode welcomes mental health counselor, minister and entrepreneur Joy Harris-Edwards. Harris-Edwards is the founder of Inspiring You to Be... Ministries, which offers ministry, life coaching, mental health counseling services. The mission of The Counseling Offices of Joy Harris DBA Inspiring You To Be… is to provide professional mental health counseling and consultation services that: incorporates a holistic therapeutic model, creates developmental programming to increase healthy lifestyle and resolution/coping skills, and provides an interactive, compassionate, caring, non-judgmental, confidential and supporting environment conducive for the journey to freedom.
Under the umbrella of Inspiring You to Be... Joy also operates The Counseling Offices of Joy Harris. After years of working as a mental health counselor for various schools and companies, Joy opened up her counseling offices and now serves clients full-time through her own counseling center.
