"If I had a daughter, she would look like Condi"-Mel

Since I do have a daughter, one of the women that I believe my daughter should look towards as an example of a woman in leadership, is former Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice. Dr. Rice, who is also an accomplished pianist, is scheduled to deliver the 2014 commencement for Rutgers University; however, several faculty members have written protests letters against their university's decision.

But why?

Is it because she lacks intelligence? Dr. Rice has a PhD from University of Denver, and returned to Stanford as a professor after her time as Secretary of State ended.

Is it because she does not support the women's movements? Dr. Rice has stated that government has no role in abortion period, and as a successful single woman, she has epitomized the power that a woman can have on her own.

Is it because of her race? Dr. Rice, the first woman of color to hold the position of Secretary of State. In addition to holding her position of Secretary of State, Dr. Rice is the first black woman to earn membership at Augusta National Golf Course

Is it because she is a war criminal? Dr, Rice was neither tried, nor charged with any crime on Iraq. In fact, Dr. Rice received more support and favortism in the Middle East than her successor, Hillary Clinton.

So what is it? Why do groups and organizations that champion for women making "history," seem to uphold the real war criminal, Hillary Clinton as a presidential, but degrade and denounce Dr. Rice?

Join me this Sunday @ 6pm to talk about this

"We came, we saw, he died"-Words of a real war criminal!
