The Danshaun Wells Law SB1150

In 2016 A fatal accident that took the life of 14 year old Danshaun Wells in Anne Arundel County Rt 170. Danshaun was hit after while standing in a bike lane. There were 2 witnesses that gave statements in 2017. Also the driver Johnathan T. Smalls has a history of negligent driving from what accurate records has shown. Smalls lead guilty to failure to control a vehicle speed on a highway to avoid collision. Danshaun's Mom Deauntte Griffin-Dezurn has proposed a Bill that will test the drivers at the scene for being under the influence of drugs and alcohol in results of a death. Unfortunately this seems to be a recurring thing that has to come to a end NOW!
