What motivates You? HipHop influences growing up

Come one! Come all! Help me discuss this new HipHop era we're experiencing right now. I will have a Co-host who goes by the name of Santa Fe' ,who is raw and very knowledgeable about the hiphop game. We all know some artist get overlooked or just plain out forgotten about especially from the 90's and early 2000's. I can't forget our own Baltimore artist who held it down also. There was alot going on during those times. A big shift in culture positively and negatively. We would like to know who influenced you? What did or do you like about your favorite artist. Whos the forgotten? Do you agree with today's hiphop genre...Can it SURVIVE? We all know hiphop is an ART but today it just seem like babies scribbling on paper...
