It wasn't until the she showed up, that the public began to hear about the missing girls, most of them black, from Washington, D.C. That's because she, Washington Metropolitan Police Department’s new commander Chanel Dickerson, made a pledge when she was hired months earlier to find their missing girls. One of the ways Ms. Dickerson went about standing on her word is by having her department post the missing girls to the police department's twitter account. THAT is what got the locals attention and soon thereafter, the country's attention.
Unfortunately, D.C. is not even close to being the only city with this problem. There are other major cities with the same issue, also largely being ignored. What happens to most of the girls that are never found? Most end up in the sex trafficking industry as sex slaves. Are you aware how big of an issue this is? Are you aware who the new victims are?
On Thursday (March 30th), we will discuss what's really going on with the missing girls in Washington, D.C., list the other top cities with high rates of missing girls/women, discuss sex trafficking, go into tactics used to trick girls into becoming victims, and DISPEL MYTHS surrounding who can be a victim. We will also talk about industries and organizations that are beginning to train to recognize victims and for the latter, to also rescue them.
****If there's enough time left in the show, we will get into #PizzaGate, a worldwide pedophile sex trafficking ring.****
