What should we be doing as Black parents?
Living in a racist society is indeed challenging. Being a Black parent under the same, even more so. Join us, Alex Primo and Asha Zuri, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 9 pm EST (8 CST, 7 MST, 6 PST) as we discuss how to parent while Black. We will discuss everything from basic parenting skills to the importance of eating dinner together. Detailing how staying connected gives your child a better opportunity to succeed in the real world. Proper parenting will help your child get better grades, eat healthier, make good choices, and avoid jail-time. Sounds like a stretch doesn't it? Don't worry, the data backs us up. We will also get into different parenting styles. From time out to spanking, we will explore how parents look for creative ways to produce healthy and productive children who become good citizens. That is what most people do you know. They try to fit into the societal norms. Is that a good or bad thing? Tune in and let's talk.
