How much do you think about homelesness? Unfortunately your average household is one paycheck away from not having the ability to pay mortgage or rent. Are you concerned with the lack of shelter and intervention for the teen homeless population? What happens to young adults when they are "aged" out of the foster system? Many people think of homeless people as hopeless. Hopefully by listening to this show today you will gain different perspective.

I don't know if you are aware or not, but there is a large population of teens that are homeless. Do you know of any organizations that are reaching out to our youth?

Join us Tuesday March 29th 2016 at 6PM PST/8PM CST/9PM EST  when we will speak with Camille Davis of Covenant House of Anchorage Alaska.

ABOUT COVENANT HOUSE:

Covenant House Alaska is a 24/7 shelter for teens ages 13-20 and also provides services and housing to young people in our transitional living homes Passage House (for young and/or expecting mothers)  and Rights of Passage, a 18-month program for young adults who are exiting out of crisis and transitioning into stable independence with Covenant House Support. Covenant House is guided by our principles of Immediacy, Sanctuary, Value Communication, Structure, and Choice and seek to serve all youth who enter our doors or whom we meet on the street with absolute respect and unconditional love.

We will discuss Covenant House and a few other organizations that help with the homeless problem in this country. Won't you get involved?
