The Origin of "Black on Black Crime" as a figure of speech
This Thursday, at 9 pm EST(6 pm PST), Asha Zuri and Alex Primo will take a close look at the starting point of this controversial phrase and how it affects the Melanated family. We will examine why so many pundits embrace it and the problems with us repeating it. Also on the agenda is the spread of the idea of Black crime somehow being different or special. So much so, that it merits a unique label that you don't really find among other groups of people. I mean, have you ever heard of Italian on Italian crime? The mob was born in Italy, and they are ultra violent, yet you never hear of a special name for it. Japanese on Japanese crime? Russian on Russian crime? You don't even hear of white on white crime, unless we bring it up. Let's talk!
And don't forget, if we are fortunate, brother Dennis Jefferson will drop in and give us another Healthy Matters update. Promoting physical, mental, dietary wellness.
