Santa & Cultural Icons

Have you ever noticed that we have a ton of cultural icons in America? From Santa Claus to Elvis Presley, we have a habit of cherishing and embracing objects, ideas, and individuals that we elevate to iconic stature.

Before we begin remember this definition of the word ICON:

A cultural icon can be a symbol, logo, picture, name, face, person, building or other image. It is easily recognized and generally represents an object or idea with great cultural significance to a wide cultural group.

Join Tiffany Weaver, Zhe Levels Scott, and Alex Primo Saturday, December 26th at 9 pm EST(8 pm CST, 7 pm MST, 6 pm PST) as we examine America's affinity for ancient myths, modern creations, and legends of old. We will discuss Hercules, Superman, John Wayne, Mickey Mouse, Michael Jackson and other classic characters and celebrities that have been placed in high esteem by the public. The West has a long history of clinging to famous images and icons. Let's talk.
