This Episode we will discuss the history of home ownership in this country, and what that experience has been like over the years for Black people. The so-called "American Dream" has become somewhat of a nightmare for some. What's next? Is it possible to own a home free and clear? What possibilities are out there for Blacks to gain real estate as an asset? We will talk with professionals that can answer these questions. You don't want to miss out!
*Our first guest is Ms. Darlene Burke of California who will share with us her sucess as a real estate professional and amazing stories from her clients that have overcome obstacles unimaginable through her non-profit organization called Ten Toes In.
“Ten Toes In” was created because of the need to have a support group that specifically targeted women with an incarcerated loved one. This support group “married” two of Darlene’s passions: Relationships and the Incarcerated Community. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that women define their own “Ten Toes In” journey after they fully understand the assets and liabilities of loving a man “behind the wall”. In addition, she would like to educate society about relationships with incarcerated men, so that society will not judge these women but accept them for who they choose to love, without condemning them.
**We will also be joined by Mr. Robert Miner, who has been successful in creating non-traditional funds without using the bank or credit to purchase real estate in St. Louis Missouri. He will share tips, information and allow you reach out to him for further information.
***Lastly, We will be joined by Mr. James Hunt of Altanta who will share information on personal credit and business credit.
