Join Shabaka and Jerry as they discuss black economics and black empowerment for the Melanated family. Tonight's episode will include Black economics, reinvesting in our community, flexing our buying power, and other ways to strengthen the Melanated Nation.

The reason we are focusing on Black economics today is because at some point we seem to have forgotten the importance of working together. From the time Black people arrived in this nation, whether by force or by choice,we knew that our best chance for survival was by working together. Whether it be sharing a garden tool or sharing a small kitchen, blacks knew that combining resources would improve our living conditions; Even when we could not physically fight for freedom we pooled our resources to purchase it for those of us who where up for sale.

So as you can see the Melanated man has always known that our unity is a powerful tool. Let get back to the old ways of our wise forerunners and build a great Black community that is focused on taking care of one another and doing what's right.
