Lori Louis is the CEO of Mocha Moon, a luxury consumer goods company; she’s also a sought-after Big 5 Management Consultant, lending her expertise on major projects for several Fortune 500 companies like Coca Cola, IBM, Kimberly-Clark and Bank of America.

Louis launched Mocha Moon in 2009… she was unable to find a cosmetic organizer that simplified her busy life. Despite a recession, she launched a luxury collection of all-in-one cosmetic organizers and travel bags for the woman on the go.

Childhood conversations with her grandparents motivated her to follow her dreams and shoot for the moon. The richness of that experience and the mocha color of her role models brought to life the Mocha Moon luxury brand that’s seen in national magazines like In Touch Weekly, Women’s World, Travel Weekly and luxury magazines Jezebel and LuxeLounge.

Louis is also CEO of Henderson Jones Consulting, launched in 2000; she is responsible for managing multi-million dollar budgets, global business and technology project for Fortune 500 companies in various industries. Some of those industries are; Finance, Banking, Wealth and Investment Management, Health Care, Manufacturing, and Information Technology just to name a few. Lori also co-founded Beauty and Books, a non-profit organization. It partners with shelters offering women job readiness training and onsite job fairs, while delivering books and toiletry items. Lori is hands on, she rolls up her sleeves to develop and deliver life skills and job readiness training at the shelters.

Louis attended Southwest Texas State University and HBCU Huston-Tillotson University. She was also recognized in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta. Mocha Moon won the Lifetime Moms/Spark and Hustle Atlanta Small Business grand prize.
