A few days ago I was very much fortunate to speak with Eleanor Harrison, Director at Action for Children in Conflict in Kenya (AFOC) via Skype just around midnight here in the US as Eleanor was starting her morning in Thika, Kenya (I would be in absolute misery without my Skype!). It was clear to me from the beginning that Eleanor’s wealth of philanthropic endeavors is playing a really crucial role in the growth of this outstanding organization. AFOC not only delivers holistic, sustainable, educational and social services to street children living in the district of Thika, they also have an incredible staff of global humanitarians who bring a vibrant skill set to these vulnerable communities. Stay tuned for our live show streaming at 9:00am CST in the US and 6:00pm in Thika, Kenya http://www.actionchildren.org
