With the onset of National Autism Awareness Month, we are continuing our discussion on Autism and why you can’t take a textbook approach to treating it.

This week we are delighted to have Dr. Thomas Myers, DC and Dr. Patrick Flynn, DC join in on this compelling discussion.

Dr. Myers is the director of the World Class Chiropractic Center, serving the New Tampa and Wesley Chapel communities in Florida for several years. He is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of his patients by using a ‘whole person approach.’ Succinctly, he looks for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption, which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time, and makes whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that will optimize the conditions for normal functions. Using this unique approach, he has been able to accelerate his patients’ journeys to good health.

Dr. Flynn is the founder and director of The Wellness Way, a chiropractic practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Having a passion for wellness and nutrition, he is a sought out speaker in national healthcare, and has obtained countless hours of post-graduate training in nutrition, naturopathic, female hormone issues, autism and heavy metal toxicity.

He completed the D.A.N. (Defeat Autism Now) program, which seeks to offer rational, scientifically sound approaches to autism.

He and Dr. Myers believe that autism encompasses a spectrum of disorders with multiple provoking stressors and multiple potential susceptibilities. Due to this, they also believe that there are no one-size-fits-all treatment strategies. Instead, they seek detailed, customized care for each of their patients.
