    Expendable Warriors

Listen in today at 3PM Eastern, Noon Pacific!

Retired US Army Col. Bruce B. G. Clarke, Ret., joins me today for the full show (!!!) to discuss his book Expendable Warriors.  Candid, authentic, brilliant, and courageous - Clarke is one of my all-time favorite American heroes.  In the 40years since the end of the Battle of Khe Sanh, much fiction about what really happened - and confusion about the intentions of a very political General Westmoreland - have been fed to the American People.

Not anymore.  Here, today, the reality of how a battle that was won could not turn the tide in a war that was lost.  Col. Clarke served our nation in uniform for more than 30 years.  This is his story.  This is a soldier's story.  It is our story.

Join me at 3PM Eastern for this remarkable look at the truth of Vietnam, and the contrasts (and similarities) against the unpopular war in Iraq.  Clarke's insight into David Petraeus during his days at West Point, the modern era of war fighting - and how politics affects military strategy.
