Greetings, my faithful listeners!  Today's Political Quickie is a bit naughty... and a lot of fun.  First, I have a major announcement to make... Second, we'll have a lot of fun.  Politicos have a tendency to take themselves very seriously.  I think it's about time we have a little fun at their expense.  For the last week, I've polled friends via phone an email - asking what song/sound/food they associate with the various presidential candidates and their spouses.

Here's what I found:

Fred Thompson... makes the coolest chick song come alive.  "Natural Woman" by Aretha carries the day.

Barack Obama wins for Democrats... "Sexual Healing" - nuff said, there.  Oh, and "Do It" by Nelly Furtado.  This guy really needs to work the woman thing.  Women really WANT to feel like he's ready for prime time. 

Hillary Clinton... it's really about Bill.  So, for her campaign - I personally think every event featuring Bill should be led with "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne.  Oh, come on.  Chicks still dig that guy.  And the song would inject some energy.  Imagine the punditocracy... everyone would laugh.  It's better than "Bitch" by Meredith Brooks.  Which was a close second...

Joe Biden... words: Safe, Sexy, Unseen.  "Smooth" by Santana.  Great song, but almost forgotten.

Mitt Romney... words: smarmy, slick, like the guy who always acted as if it was an honor to have sex with him.  NOT!  --- and my favorite: Max Headroom.  And his song: "Paranomia" by Art of Noise, yeah - from the 80s.  It's just tooooo Stepford folks.
