The Abundant Solutions Hour Gregory Turner and Brian J Henderson Host The Abundant Solutions Hour www. blogtalkradio. com/asemotivation Call in number (718) 508-9600 Monday, August 4, 2008 9:00 P.M. EST. Special Guests and Best Selling Authors, Sherri Lewis and Linda Dominique Sherri Lewis Sherri Lewis authored her first book at the age of six. Her family considered her pencil and crayon on brightly colored construction paper creation a masterpiece. She continued to enjoy writing short stories and poems throughout her young adult life. Her writing was put on hold while she attended Howard University as an undergraduate, then medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. The writing bug bit again a few years ago and pencil, crayon, and construction paper were replaced by laptop and printer. Sherri considers writing both a ministry and therapy. She’s able to take a problem she’s struggling with, give it to a character in a story and create a wonderfully happy ending. She hopes her stories will minister to others as much as they do to her. Her writing passion is to create characters with real life situations, faults, and behaviors and show the power of God to cause all things to work together for good. By day, she “ministers” as the staff physician at a Georgia Department of Corrections’ women’s prison. By night, Sherri can be found in any of Atlanta ’s eclectic coffee shops, typing furiously on her laptop – headphones blaring jazz or contemporary gospel – talking to herself, the computer, and the characters interacting in her head. Sherri is co-founder of the Atlanta Black Christian Fiction Writers’ Critique Group with Essence Best-Selling author Tia McCollors. She is also a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers and its Southeast Atlanta chapter, Visions In Print. She lives in Atlanta , Georgia . Sherri’s life passion is to express the reality of the Kingdom of God through the arts including music, dance, film and television, and literature; and through sound biblical teaching. Her ministry thrusts include the message of the Kingdom, intimacy with God, intercessory prayer, understanding prophetic ministry, ministering emotional healing, and birthing individuals into their destiny. Linda Dominique Grosvenor Linda Dominique Grosvenor is a National Bestselling Author who launched BET's now defunct imprint New Spirit with two fiction novels. She now shares positive message of self-esteem with women and men across the US through her non-profit organization the Love Better Camp. She hails from humble beginnings and was raised along with 3 other siblings singlehandedly by a mother who was born in Barbados , West Indies . Her life is living proof that with faith, perseverance and the favor of God, there is nothing you can't do. She is dedicated to all aspects of the arts and has a knack for lending her voice to a variety of unsung causes, most prominently domestic violence. Grosvenor made her foray into non-fiction with The Plural Thing: Spiritually Preparing for Your Soul Mate, is currently completing The Plural Thing companion titled Love Better Camp that lends itself to a spiritual weekend retreat series for couples and singles of the same name. Her expertise on dating and relationship issues has been used in articles for publications such as Modern Bride, Jolie, Honey, Jewel and MORE Magazine. A tireless advocate who is pursuing the completion of her counseling degree at Nyack College , Grosvenor founded the Love Better Camp, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to boosting the self-esteem of young women and men from all walks of life with her husband in 2008. She has one son and is currently enjoying married life near the beaches of South Jersey and just wants to teach people how to love better.
