Actor and author Lance Henriksen will be stopping by to discuss his recently released biography, Not Bad For a Human. (FROM THE BOOK INTRO) Whether he’s playing a cop or a hitman, an android or a cowboy, a loving father or a sadistic monk, Lance Henriksen always seems to fit the part and become the role – leaving audiences to wonder who he really is. In NOT BAD FOR A HUMAN, the actor reveals his creative process, explaining how he creates onscreen characters by drawing on details from his own stranger-than-fiction life. Before he became an artist and an actor, Henriksen was a drifter. He spent most of his early childhood roaming the country with his gypsy-like family, taking odd jobs along the way and getting into plenty of trouble. His formal education ended in third grade, but he had already learned how to navigate his way through life by being a careful observer who could adapt to any situation. He was so convincing that he got his earliest acting jobs before he’d even learned to read. After three and a half decades of filmmaking, he maintains his fearlessness… In this biography, Henriksen doesn’t hold back while disclosing personal details that are forever fused with some of Hollywood’s most memorable films.
It's good to talk.
