The best in the weeks news from the very different perspectives of Gary and Frederic. Eddie Hasell, one of the stars of the indie film sensation The Kids Are All Right, and Italia Ricci, star of the new Cartoon Network series Unnatural History, will be guests on MediaBlvd’s popular Purple Haze radio show, pre-recorded. Starring Annette Bening, Julianna Moore and Mark Rufalo, the critically acclaimed The Kids Are All Right is about a gay couple (Bening, Moore), parents of two teenagers, who must deal with their sperm donor (Rufalo) entering their lives. Airing Sundays at 8PM, Unnatural History is the first of its kind for Cartoon Network, an original live-action scripted series. It centers on teenager Henry Griffin, a Young Indiana Jones by way of Freaks and Geeks. Purple Haze is hosted by NASA contractor Dr. Kenn Gold, conservative author Gary Morgenstein (Jesse’s Girl), liberal screenwriter/journalist Frederic Germay and TV Talk Radio host Shaun Daily. Morgenstein’s new play, A Tomato Can’t Grow in the Bronx, will premiere in New York’s Producers Club from September 22-September 26.
