Award-winning film director-producer Fernando Beltran, whose movie Terminal was honored by the Cannes Film Festival, along with film and stage actress Leah Loftin (Monster’s Ball), will take Media Blvd’s Purple Haze radio show audience inside the world of Hollywood, including behind the scenes into the glitz and glamour of the 2010 Cannes Film Festival (begins May 12). Terminal was the Winner of the 2008 Cannes Film Festival - Short Film Corner; the 2008 Special Jury Award at the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival; an Official Selection of the prestigious Festival Tous Courts in Aix-en-Provence, France, and an Official Selection of the 2007 Pensacola International Film Festival. Beltran has produced three movies, including Terminal, Eleven and Reversal. He also has several projects currently in development, including the psycho-thriller Alter Ego. Along with Monster’s Ball and the internationally award-winning Surface Calm, Leah Loftin received rave reviews for her performance in the controversial Off-Broadway production of Jean Genet's The Maids X 2. She has garnered numerous acting awards and nominations, including the National Irene Ryan Award for Acting, the New Orleans' Marquee Award for Best Actress, the Storer Boone Award for Best Actress in a Comedy and Best Supporting Actress, and the Ambie Award for Best Actress in a Drama.
