The Dad Show  

To all my listeners I must first appoligize. I have not been able to provide you the quality and quanity show you deserve. My military obligations took me away from home shortly after starting this show. I believe in this show with all my heart and know that with a little time it can be a success. With all of the strides we have made in this day and age we have fallen short on support and resources for fathers. I must admit that as i write this my two year old son Avery J. is in a fight for his life. In November he suffered a severe double stroke in the Basil Ganglia region of his brain. His medical care has been lacking to say the least and many nights since I have found myself wondering how many other fathers not as vocal as I am have had to suffer the strain of a severly sick child with no medical advocate for his or her well being. The last few months have been difficult for my family. The divorce aside both of my children have faced medical challenges. My poor sweet little girl Alexandra was attacked by a dog causing major injuries to her little face. I find myself overcome with rage and anger. I want to strangle the animal and watch the life leave its eyes. The fact the dog belongs to a friend of her mother's does nothing to curb my anger. I promise to all my fans and readers and listeners to get back on the air. I believe in the need for fathers and want to create an industry to support fathers. This radio show, blog, a magazine, support groups, father friendly business and professional networks. All of this can become a reality I just need the help to get it off the ground. Your support to this point has been deeply felt and is why I have not given up on this dream. I know the economy is hard on families right now but I believe when good people work together good things happen. Help your neighbors and they will help you. Love your babies and they will love you.
