Shame

(Isaiah 50:6-7) "I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.  {7} ¶ For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed."

(Ezra 9:5-6) "¶ And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God,  {6} And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens."

(Hebrews 8:11-12) "And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.  {12} For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."
