Who knows. Maybe it was a make-up call for allowing TheBNF.com Party to slip through the 'provocative' censors.

     National best-selling author Ms. Victoria Christopher Murray will be visiting The Maverick at his cyber table this week on Maverick Media.
  
     Ms. Murray has penned eight novels, including favorites Lady Jasmine; Too Little, Too Late, and A Sin and a Shame. She's also written four novels for youths under what she calls the Divas Divine Series.
  
     Who knows? Maybe for The Maverick he'll be allowed out of Blog Talk Radio's penalty box for a show with less provocative content . . . Stay tuned!

     Who said it was too early for The Maverick to have a 'best of show' after, what, 32 segments? Apparently he doesn't listen to the critics.
     The Maverick has been at it non-stop since May, and the result has been a show that is arguably the Internet's No. 1 rated entertainment talk show (that nobody's still heard of).

  The Mid-Summer Classic

     The Maverick is a connoisseur of sorts of music. He grew up to the soulful R & B music popularized by sounds produced by Mowtown, Stax, etc. By the time he reached high school, he'd digressed to the top-40s music and rock. When he reached adulthood, his musical tastes had shifted to jazz and even some gospel. But in his middle-aged years he finds himself going back to the stuff that he knows best.
     The Mid-Summer Classic is for the listeners of Maverick Media. Many of us still feel that we're in the summer of our lives and the music played will reflect it. No dog days here. So hang out with The Maverick for the next 90 minutes! There may be a surprise or two along the way.

     Some people just can't stand another person's happiness. Such is the case with some women who despise a friend or relative for the man in their life. The Bible calls it covetousness. Some would just call it outright hating.
     So what are some women willing to do? Connive, conspire, and seduce the man into their arms (or elsewhere), supposing that most don't think with the right head, anyway. Issues of trust pervade. Relationships can be torn and permanently damaged by such scandalous intentions.

     NOTE: This show segment begins with Memphis Tigers head football coach Tommy West. Coach West is a former college coach of current NFL star Terrell Owens; their paths crossed in 1993 when West was the head coach of the Tennessee-Chattanooga program and Owens was a sophomore.
  
     Men are quick to tell women that they are no mind readers when trying to figure out what women desire and expect from men while dating and in a relationship. But The Maverick's question is do women really understand what men desire and expect while dating and in a relationship? The answer is not always sex, sex, and more sex.
