The Lumberjacks have one alumnus playing for Michigan State University in Matt Berry, to be joined in the fall by NHL Draft prospect Matt DeBlouw and defenseman Travis Walsh. A pipeline is developing between Muskegon and East Lansing, and here to talk about that and other relevant topics is Spartans men's hockey coach Tom Anastos. Voice of the Jacks Matt Gajtka is your host as he and coach Anastos talk about the relationship between junior and college hockey, including the importance of junior-aged development to a player's ultimate success. Anastos, the former commissioner of the CCHA who also served as president of the Tier II NAHL, will also address the changing landscape of college hockey, including the upcoming Big Ten hockey conference.  Anastos also played under current Lumberjacks Advisor Ron Mason at MSU; what did he learn from his time playing for the most successful coach in college hockey history?
