Episode 40 Fuego y Agua 2013 Part II (Fuego My Eggo)
The last of the Nica interviews.
The legend of Johnny Waite has been growing in the endurance event scene for a while. I was really excited to finally meet him. He would later make me laugh harder than anyone all week.
Eddie Yanick, Jason Henline and Justin Gavin had never done a Death Race or any endurance event. They were the first Survival participants I would find Sunday morning so we talked shortly after breakfast.
Melody "Tiger" Hazi was the only multi female multi Death Race/Suck finisher so I wanted her insight into the event.
Eric Orton taught Chris McDougall to run with proper form. All Chris did then was go down to Mexico with Eric and some others, write "Born to Run" and change the culture of running forever. Eric was hangin in Nica all week and I got to chat (and run!) with him.
