Whistleblower’s is presented in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Annual Whistleblower’s Summit  in Washington D.C.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our guest is Carolyn Douglas who will be speaking about judicial discretion: its uses and abuses.
Is judicial discretion lawful? Or simply regarded as an accepted practice?  Does a judge have authority to rule based on his opinion and discretion? Or are they actually making up their own rules and laws from the bench?  What affect could judicial discretion have on you?  Is there any recourse available to you if a judge's judicial discretion adversely affects you?
These questions and many more will be discussed this evening with Carolyn.
Carolyn Douglas, author of The Dark Side..A Treatise on Law and Judging
