First Nations combines chemical dependency and mental health services with community and family-based support. Their programming is relationship-based and includes sharing experiences and stories, while dealing with core issues.
The Intensive Outpatient Program lasts an average of 26 weeks. Treatment is based on the needs and progress of the individual. Individualized treatment strategies include group and individual therapy, along with exercise, nutrition, employment and budgeting skill building. Clients may enter the program at any time and may transition between phases 1, II, and III at their own pace as each client has an individual treatment plan.
