What is wisdom?

I will talk with Lawrence McClellan about his spiritual path and professional work.

Lawrence is a 16-year Master Barber and Philosopher, Life Connoisseur, Loving Husband and Father born Nov 2, 1973 in Bronx, NY.

"From 1979-2010 I lived in Birmingham, AL and then moved to Portland , OR most recently. Having grown through and out of a life of adversity,addiction and incarceration, I gained a unique viewpoint of life and the world around me. I'm a believer in Inquiry as a way to reveal our authentic and common human aspirations.

Drawing from my own personal struggles, along with a hunger to learn and adapt to various cultural and spiritual ideas, My voice carries a special resonance for those who want to see ideals work on the ground level. I'm as much a self-made man as any,  enjoying writing, music, gardening, cooking, and the occasional debate or two to spice life and stir the complacent and the lazy mind.

It is my passion to see a world where people both celebrate and cultivate one another’s uniqueness and no longer live in fear and separation."

Lawrence currently cultivates community in his neighborhood, in Portland Oregon, and on Facebook at “The Cipher of Wisdom”. He lives with his lovely wife Tiffiney, their son Malachi and Bella, the family pooch.
