I will talk with Nikki Hainstock about her spiritual path and professional work.

I came to shamanic work 7 years ago and have been working and teaching, travelling around the world, healing and sharing. Shamanism is mastery of living energy and so, in some ways, my path began at the beginning, as for each of us, the navigation of this world becomes training in itself. Much of the work I do is about perception and it’s subsequent affect on reality. Thus, the travelling I have done since the age of three weeks old, a five year degree in fine art, the music I play, the dancing I’ve done, the work with an art collective called the Urban Shaman, all of this is as much what has brought me to both myself and this work as actual trainings. I’ve worked with many Shaman down in Peru, First Nations elders and medicine people, and teach at different locations around the world and at a men’s First Nations Canadian Federal Corrections institute. Mostly, I listen to where spirit and my heart are guiding me, and then enjoy the ride.

From a more technical standpoint, my private healings involve anything from serious medical conditions, such as cancers, birth defects, un-diagnosable pains, to people just not sure what to do with their lives, to helping and guiding people, businesses and animals through extensive transformations and healing. I also pass on the Medicine Wheel teachings, an ancient and cross cultural cycle of initiation and training in nature based philosophy and energy mastery. I’ve been reading cards and leaves for almost twenty years, have taught workshops on divination, energy healing, ceremony, and protection. I work with individuals, couples, families and groups, mostly, to bring people to a healed version of Self. I love what I do, each person that crosses my path in this crazy walk, and couldn’t feel more gratitude for all this beautiful world is.
