I celebrated hosting The Wisdom Hour for 6 months and sharing this sacred space with a guest for the 100th time. The 100th guest was Adena Koslek, who was also the FIRST guest. I talked with Adena about The Self-Aware Universe, by Amit Goswami. I played a clip from NPR’s radiolab on Cosmic Habituation on which the hosts discuss results from scientific research that keeps changing as scientists try to replicate results, indicating that there is no fixed reality. I discussed quantum physics with Adena.

I played The Dot and The Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics, to demonstrate how science and spirituality are merging as the unified whole that they have always been. We discussed how we shift between the state of being the wave and the point by contorting ourselves, adapting to different environments, in order to create space for our evolution. We talked about the importance of exploring space both within and in the physical world, and how our relationships (friendships, romances, etc.) are the perfect places for us to enter sacred spaces for exploration and creativity. We talked about balancing exploration as a wave with building as a single point. When I am a wave, I am open to everything and I explore everything. When I am a point, I am choosing a single area in space to build something that will last. If I am the wave without ever being a focused point, I spend all of my time exploring and traveling, but never committing to a valuable project. If I am a point without ever being a wave, I build and build, but eventually run out of space.
