I talked with John de Graaf about his spiritual path and professional work.
John is a documentary filmmaker and author. He has produced 15 national prime time PBS specials, including the popular AFFLUENZA, and has won more than 100 film awards. the John de Graaf Environmental Filmmaking Award, named for him, is presented annually at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Nevada City, California. John is the author of four books, including AFFLUENZA and the recently-released WHAT'S THE ECONOMY FOR, ANYWAY? He is regular speaker on college campuses, Executive Director of Take Back Your Time (www.timeday.org), co-founder of The Happiness Initiative (www.happycounts.org) and a member of the Earth Island Institute board of directors. He has taught at The Evergreen State College and lives in Seattle, Washington.
