Adoption (by a man and a woman) is the best possible solution for those children who cannot have access to the natural parents. There is nothing inferior about it - it is an act of heroism because adoptive parents must try to fill in for those natural parents.

This is so true! Every child deserves to have access to the nurture that occurs naturally from the man and woman who gave it life. Why on Earth would we stray from that natural state of nurture for our children?

I believe the way we define marriage DOES affect every marriage. Even dual-gender marriages. It affects every marriage, both under the laws and also how we as a community define our next generation. We set the traditions and culture for our children. What will they learn from us?
