With the debut of Matt & Matt On The Marlins coming up in just a few days, it's probably best to lay out what we plan to bring to the table. Our show is going to be a 90-minute platform on Florida Marlins baseball each week. We're going to bring you our opinions on all the latest news surrounding the franchise, although our focus will be the team on the field and the minor league system. Anyone who follows the team knows about the stadium issues that hang over the franchise, but we're hardly qualified to bring much information regarding that, so we'll avoid the issue for the most part. 

Speaking of qualifications, you may be wondering exactly who we are. Simply put, we're fans of the franchise and have been since its inception. Also, some of you may know Matt Birnbach from his work on the Future Fish blog over at MVN. We're not so-called baseball experts, whatever that actually means, but we do know what we're talking about, even if you might not always agree with what we have to say.

So, if you're a Marlins fan, this is a show for you. We debut Wednesday night at 11 pm Eastern. The main topic of discussion will be Miguel Cabrera's future, what we think about him being on the block, where he could be going, what will come in return, and plenty of speculation on what this is going to mean for the team in 2008 and beyond. Also, Baseball America will be unveiling their Top 10 Prospects list on Wednesday, so we'll be breaking that down, prospect by prospect.
