Carol Rose was a career prosecutor for over 34 years with her last position as a Deputy DA in Long Beach. In June she was on the ballot for the position of Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Running against a career politician - she was an underdog not expected to win. But she had something her opponent didn’t and that was the support of Susan Soares who organized a get-out-the-vote campaign amongst medical marijuana patients law reform advocates. And look at what happened – SHE WON!
